How should you use LinkedCells?
LinkedCells is designed for two scenarios:
- Distributing data from one person to many people.
- Consolidating data from many people into a single spreadsheet
Distributing data
If your clients or employees need to use changing data (price lists, sales numbers, company goals) you can share your data directly into their spreadsheets. When you change your numbers, their spreadsheet is updated automatically.
Consolidating data
If you are combining data from multiple spreadsheets, LinkedCells can save you time. Rather than have each of your sales reps, district managers, or employees email you their latest 'numbers', have them publish their data to you through LinkedCells. Whenever they update their data, you'll get the latest information.
